This workshop aims to establish a community focused on four-dimensional reconstruction of mammalian development. Long-standing questions about early mammalian development have been inaccessible due to technical limitations. Recent advances in light microscopy and bioimage informatics now allow us to address these questions. The workshop will bring together experts in mouse development, microscopy, image analysis, and quantitative biology to discuss available techniques and outstanding questions. It will also provide a platform to identify needed tools and discuss making large datasets publicly available.
In its second edition, this symposium will explore key concepts of latent metastasis and tumour cell dissemination, including genetic diversity, circulating tumour cells, dormancy, and stromal reprogramming. Topics will also cover transcriptional control, motility, immune evasion, and metabolic adaptations. The meeting aims to foster interdisciplinary exchange on metastasis and its therapeutic challenges, highlighting high-resolution imaging, single-cell sequencing, and innovative tissue modelling.
